About this spot
Whether you're a family, friends or a wildly mixed bunch: at Bubble Tent Gerbstedt Grande, everyone fits under one (tent) roof.
Two double beds are waiting for you in the bubble tent – and a cot can be added on request. That gives you plenty of space and cosiness for a sleepover under the stars.
Your island of relaxation stands in the Harz foothills at Gut Bösenburg, a family business where the hosts run arable farming and keep horses and alpacas.
“A short break in the Harz for young and old, because these four-legged friends are good for everyone!”
You'll only find such calm, relaxed and fluffy neighbours here – it's no wonder alpacas are also called the dolphins of the pasture. Alpaca hikes with these fluffy fellows can be booked directly with the host!
In this green oasis there's not only your magnificent bedroom, but also a small cabin with a covered kitchen – for cooking, eating and hanging out together, whatever the weather. Breakfast is included free of charge: the fridge is already stocked before you even arrive.
Surrounded by fields, forests, animals and a starry sky, this is the family trip or friends' getaway that doesn't feel like a schedule, but like a holiday.

Frequent questions
Everything you need to know about booking and payment. Still stuck? Just message our friendly team in the chat.
Yes, you can cook with gas on site while enjoying the natural surroundings. The kitchen is covered and located in the wooden cabin next door.
No, but there's a bit of everything – on arrival you'll find a stocked fridge with cold cuts, cheese and everything you need for a leisurely breakfast. Preparing it is up to you.
We ask you to treat nature, the facilities and the neighbours with consideration, so that all guests can have a pleasant experience.
For safety reasons, open fire isn't allowed inside the bubble. If you have any questions about permitted fire pits, please contact your host on site directly.
That depends on the location. In the search, you can select the "Dogs welcome" filter. The listing will also give you more information – for example, that dogs are usually only allowed in the airlock chamber and that you'll need to bring a dog basket.
For cancellations up to 21 days before arrival, 85% of the booking amount will be refunded; the remaining 15% is retained as a service & transaction fee. For cancellations up to 7 days before arrival, 50% of the booking amount will be refunded. For cancellations up to 3 days before arrival, 20% of the booking amount will be refunded. Unfortunately, no refund is possible for cancellations after that. You can easily cancel yourself under “My booking”. The refund is made automatically to the original payment method. If you paid with a voucher, that portion will be credited back to your voucher.
Bookings can be rescheduled free of charge for the same location up to 10 days before arrival. Depending on the dates you choose, you may need to pay the difference or receive a refund. You can easily reschedule yourself under “My booking”.
No, unfortunately that isn't technically possible. The refund is made automatically to the original payment method. If you paid for your booking fully or partly with a voucher, that portion will be credited back to your voucher.
Our regular cancellation terms also apply in the event of illness. Unfortunately, this means a short-notice cancellation free of charge isn't possible, even if you can't travel due to illness.
We therefore recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance when you book, which also covers illness. That way, you're financially protected just in case.
The bubbles are built to be weatherproof, so rain won't spoil your nature experience. Thanks to the transparent roof, you can look outside from the comfort of your bed, even when it's raining.
The temperature inside generally follows the temperature outside. Depending on the location, electric blankets or additional heating are available, so you can stay cosy on cooler days. On warmer days, some locations also have a fan.
Please note that even on warm days, it can cool down considerably at night. On hot days, we therefore recommend enjoying the late afternoon and early evening outside first and only heading into the bubble tent in the evening. That way, you'll make your stay especially pleasant.
We recommend dressing for the season and, in cooler temperatures, bringing extra warm clothing and blankets, as this is a nature experience.
