Highlights
About this spot
Green, wild, a little like a jungle – and right in the middle, your little oasis: your bubble tent, hidden in the greenery of the Harz foothills in the district of Mansfeld-Südharz.
Bubble Tent Gerbstedt is part of Gut Bösenburg, a family business with arable farming, horses and alpacas. Here you can experience nature in all its unspoilt peace and beauty.
Alpacas are the dolphins of the pasture – and balm for the stressed everyday soul.
These calm, even-tempered four-legged friends live close to your bubble tent. Drop by and visit your fluffy neighbours – or book an alpaca hike directly with the host.
In your wild Garden of Eden there's also a small converted chapel. The chapel is your little, pious holiday apartment, with a small kitchen and a bathroom. Here you can quite literally wash away your sins. And outside, everything you need for a relaxed yet special holiday in the Harz awaits: fresh air, peace, endless opportunities to put your feet up and the sky above you as a blockbuster.

Frequent questions
Everything you need to know about booking and payment. Still stuck? Just message our friendly team in the chat.
The kitchen isn't quite as well equipped as yours at home, but it's enough to cook something. If in doubt, feel free to bring your favourite frying pan :)
Breakfast is included and isn't purely vegetarian, but there's plenty of variety. Otherwise, feel free to bring something along.
We ask you to treat nature, the facilities and the neighbours with consideration, so that all guests can have a pleasant experience.
For safety reasons, open fire isn't allowed inside the bubble. If you have any questions about permitted fire pits, please contact your host on site directly.
That depends on the location. In the search, you can select the "Dogs welcome" filter. The listing will also give you more information – for example, that dogs are usually only allowed in the airlock chamber and that you'll need to bring a dog basket.
For cancellations up to 21 days before arrival, 85% of the booking amount will be refunded; the remaining 15% is retained as a service & transaction fee. For cancellations up to 7 days before arrival, 50% of the booking amount will be refunded. For cancellations up to 3 days before arrival, 20% of the booking amount will be refunded. Unfortunately, no refund is possible for cancellations after that. You can easily cancel yourself under “My booking”. The refund is made automatically to the original payment method. If you paid with a voucher, that portion will be credited back to your voucher.
Bookings can be rescheduled free of charge for the same location up to 10 days before arrival. Depending on the dates you choose, you may need to pay the difference or receive a refund. You can easily reschedule yourself under “My booking”.
No, unfortunately that isn't technically possible. The refund is made automatically to the original payment method. If you paid for your booking fully or partly with a voucher, that portion will be credited back to your voucher.
Our regular cancellation terms also apply in the event of illness. Unfortunately, this means a short-notice cancellation free of charge isn't possible, even if you can't travel due to illness.
We therefore recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance when you book, which also covers illness. That way, you're financially protected just in case.
The bubbles are built to be weatherproof, so rain won't spoil your nature experience. Thanks to the transparent roof, you can look outside from the comfort of your bed, even when it's raining.
The temperature inside generally follows the temperature outside. Depending on the location, electric blankets or additional heating are available, so you can stay cosy on cooler days. On warmer days, some locations also have a fan.
Please note that even on warm days, it can cool down considerably at night. On hot days, we therefore recommend enjoying the late afternoon and early evening outside first and only heading into the bubble tent in the evening. That way, you'll make your stay especially pleasant.
We recommend dressing for the season and, in cooler temperatures, bringing extra warm clothing and blankets, as this is a nature experience.
