Highlights
About this spot
Fancy a sparkling short break? Then head to Freyburg, the town of sparkling wine and wine in the Saale-Unstrut region.
Surrounded by gentle vineyards and historic sights, you'll enjoy a getaway in one of the most beautiful areas of Central Germany.
Picturesque landscape, mild climate and a cheerful atmosphere: holiday mode guaranteed.
There's a reason Freyburg is called the Tuscany of the North.
In this officially recognised resort, everything revolves around indulgence – popping corks is explicitly encouraged.
You can start at the Rotkäppchen Erlebniswelt, just one minute from your bubble tent. In the sparkling wine cellar, you can marvel at Germany's largest cuvée barrel, learn how to open a bottle with a sabre and, of course, taste the fine wines.
The bubble tent stands in the middle of a spacious garden overlooking the shared pool and lush greenery. By day, cycle tours through the region's wineries beckon; in the evening, wine tastings await practically on your doorstep – or simply drift through the old town with sparkling wine and the sunset. Fancy a little wellness for your getaway? Then add the hot tub and sauna and sit back.

Frequent questions
Everything you need to know about booking and payment. Still stuck? Just message our friendly team in the chat.
The Rotkäppchen Erlebniswelt is only about a minute's walk from the bubble tent. On a tour of the sparkling wine cellar's historic vaults, you'll learn everything about the popular bubbly. Above the town stands Neuenburg Castle, overlooking the vineyards of the Saale-Unstrut region, which are perfect for wine hikes and wine tastings. And in around 15 minutes you can be in Naumburg, home to Naumburg Cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
There's a fully equipped kitchen on site, so you can easily cater for yourselves and prepare your meals whenever you like. Freyburg is a charming, compact town – if you don't feel like cooking during your short break, you'll find plenty of places to eat nearby.
Unfortunately, Bubble Tent Freyburg isn't designed for stays with children.
We ask you to treat nature, the facilities and the neighbours with consideration, so that all guests can have a pleasant experience.
For safety reasons, open fire isn't allowed inside the bubble. If you have any questions about permitted fire pits, please contact your host on site directly.
That depends on the location. In the search, you can select the "Dogs welcome" filter. The listing will also give you more information – for example, that dogs are usually only allowed in the airlock chamber and that you'll need to bring a dog basket.
For cancellations up to 21 days before arrival, 85% of the booking amount will be refunded; the remaining 15% is retained as a service & transaction fee. For cancellations up to 7 days before arrival, 50% of the booking amount will be refunded. For cancellations up to 3 days before arrival, 20% of the booking amount will be refunded. Unfortunately, no refund is possible for cancellations after that. You can easily cancel yourself under “My booking”. The refund is made automatically to the original payment method. If you paid with a voucher, that portion will be credited back to your voucher.
Bookings can be rescheduled free of charge for the same location up to 10 days before arrival. Depending on the dates you choose, you may need to pay the difference or receive a refund. You can easily reschedule yourself under “My booking”.
No, unfortunately that isn't technically possible. The refund is made automatically to the original payment method. If you paid for your booking fully or partly with a voucher, that portion will be credited back to your voucher.
Our regular cancellation terms also apply in the event of illness. Unfortunately, this means a short-notice cancellation free of charge isn't possible, even if you can't travel due to illness.
We therefore recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance when you book, which also covers illness. That way, you're financially protected just in case.
The bubbles are built to be weatherproof, so rain won't spoil your nature experience. Thanks to the transparent roof, you can look outside from the comfort of your bed, even when it's raining.
The temperature inside generally follows the temperature outside. Depending on the location, electric blankets or additional heating are available, so you can stay cosy on cooler days. On warmer days, some locations also have a fan.
Please note that even on warm days, it can cool down considerably at night. On hot days, we therefore recommend enjoying the late afternoon and early evening outside first and only heading into the bubble tent in the evening. That way, you'll make your stay especially pleasant.
We recommend dressing for the season and, in cooler temperatures, bringing extra warm clothing and blankets, as this is a nature experience.
