Highlights
About this spot
Across the lake from Lucerne lies Weggis. And high above Weggis, at the foot of the Rigi massif, your bubble tent stands on the Schlieriberg. All around are meadows, fruit trees and mountains that look as if someone arranged them for a postcard.
And below you, Lake Lucerne glitters.
You'll be staying with a lively, traditional family business: at the Flühlerhof on the Schlieriberg, 15 Original Braunvieh cows and their calves spend the summer on the alpine pastures, while the goats keep the steep slopes in shape all year round. And there are plenty of steep slopes! On top of that, there are tall fruit trees with sweet organic cherries and plums, which you can enjoy fresh and which are known far beyond the region.
Good to know: The path to the tent is narrow and can be snowy or slippery in winter. It's generally passable by car, but at this time of year we accept no responsibility for access or safety – everyone decides for themselves whether to make the drive. Alternatively, you can walk up. It's a proper hike and may require snowshoes or suitable equipment in snow or ice. With good planning, the climb simply becomes part of the adventure and another moment to share together.

Frequent questions
Everything you need to know about booking and payment. Still stuck? Just message our friendly team in the chat.
Bubble Tent Weggis reopens in March and has heating and an electric blanket – so it's cosy, but you can still feel nature. Please note: the access road is narrow and can be snowy or icy in winter, so plan for winter tyres and, if necessary, snow chains in case there's still snow in March. Your parking space is only around 5 m from the bubble.
Your bubble is right at the foot of the Rigi. The quickest way is the Weggis–Rigi Kaltbad cable car, from where you take the Rigi Bahn on up to Rigi Kulm (1,798 m above sea level). If you get up early, you'll see one of the most beautiful sunrises in Central Switzerland at the top. To relax afterwards, there's the Mineralbad & Spa in Rigi Kaltbad.
We ask you to treat nature, the facilities and the neighbours with consideration, so that all guests can have a pleasant experience.
For safety reasons, open fire isn't allowed inside the bubble. If you have any questions about permitted fire pits, please contact your host on site directly.
That depends on the location. In the search, you can select the "Dogs welcome" filter. The listing will also give you more information – for example, that dogs are usually only allowed in the airlock chamber and that you'll need to bring a dog basket.
For cancellations up to 21 days before arrival, 85% of the booking amount will be refunded; the remaining 15% is retained as a service & transaction fee. For cancellations up to 7 days before arrival, 50% of the booking amount will be refunded. For cancellations up to 3 days before arrival, 20% of the booking amount will be refunded. Unfortunately, no refund is possible for cancellations after that. You can easily cancel yourself under “My booking”. The refund is made automatically to the original payment method. If you paid with a voucher, that portion will be credited back to your voucher.
Bookings can be rescheduled free of charge for the same location up to 10 days before arrival. Depending on the dates you choose, you may need to pay the difference or receive a refund. You can easily reschedule yourself under “My booking”.
No, unfortunately that isn't technically possible. The refund is made automatically to the original payment method. If you paid for your booking fully or partly with a voucher, that portion will be credited back to your voucher.
Our regular cancellation terms also apply in the event of illness. Unfortunately, this means a short-notice cancellation free of charge isn't possible, even if you can't travel due to illness.
We therefore recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance when you book, which also covers illness. That way, you're financially protected just in case.
The bubbles are built to be weatherproof, so rain won't spoil your nature experience. Thanks to the transparent roof, you can look outside from the comfort of your bed, even when it's raining.
The temperature inside generally follows the temperature outside. Depending on the location, electric blankets or additional heating are available, so you can stay cosy on cooler days. On warmer days, some locations also have a fan.
Please note that even on warm days, it can cool down considerably at night. On hot days, we therefore recommend enjoying the late afternoon and early evening outside first and only heading into the bubble tent in the evening. That way, you'll make your stay especially pleasant.
We recommend dressing for the season and, in cooler temperatures, bringing extra warm clothing and blankets, as this is a nature experience.
