About this spot
Sometimes you just want to log out. Out of your work inbox, out of the group chats and, just for a while, out of the chaos of the city. If you live in the Ruhr, that can mean quite a long drive. But you've made it: welcome to Welver in the Soester Börde. Here you can finally hit pause.
Quiet country air, wide fields and a lush green garden where your bubble tent stands all on its own.
It's a family's garden, and that's exactly how it feels: well-kept, personal, without a long hotel corridor – but with space for each other, room to breathe and time to unwind. The Börde is flat, quiet and surprisingly starry, because there's very little light pollution here.
If the weather doesn't play along, you simply move inside. The pavilion gives you extra space and a small kitchen where you can sit together in wind and rain, make breakfast, brew coffee and put your heads together in the evening while the weather rages outside and it's just the two of you inside. And if you'd like it even cosier, add the hot tub for that warm holiday feeling. If you're looking for glamping in NRW that feels like a long short break without travelling far, you've come to the right place.

Frequent questions
Everything you need to know about booking and payment. Still stuck? Just message our friendly team in the chat.
We ask you to treat nature, the facilities and the neighbours with consideration, so that all guests can have a pleasant experience.
For safety reasons, open fire isn't allowed inside the bubble. If you have any questions about permitted fire pits, please contact your host on site directly.
That depends on the location. In the search, you can select the "Dogs welcome" filter. The listing will also give you more information – for example, that dogs are usually only allowed in the airlock chamber and that you'll need to bring a dog basket.
For cancellations up to 21 days before arrival, 85% of the booking amount will be refunded; the remaining 15% is retained as a service & transaction fee. For cancellations up to 7 days before arrival, 50% of the booking amount will be refunded. For cancellations up to 3 days before arrival, 20% of the booking amount will be refunded. Unfortunately, no refund is possible for cancellations after that. You can easily cancel yourself under “My booking”. The refund is made automatically to the original payment method. If you paid with a voucher, that portion will be credited back to your voucher.
Bookings can be rescheduled free of charge for the same location up to 10 days before arrival. Depending on the dates you choose, you may need to pay the difference or receive a refund. You can easily reschedule yourself under “My booking”.
No, unfortunately that isn't technically possible. The refund is made automatically to the original payment method. If you paid for your booking fully or partly with a voucher, that portion will be credited back to your voucher.
Our regular cancellation terms also apply in the event of illness. Unfortunately, this means a short-notice cancellation free of charge isn't possible, even if you can't travel due to illness.
We therefore recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance when you book, which also covers illness. That way, you're financially protected just in case.
The bubbles are built to be weatherproof, so rain won't spoil your nature experience. Thanks to the transparent roof, you can look outside from the comfort of your bed, even when it's raining.
The temperature inside generally follows the temperature outside. Depending on the location, electric blankets or additional heating are available, so you can stay cosy on cooler days. On warmer days, some locations also have a fan.
Please note that even on warm days, it can cool down considerably at night. On hot days, we therefore recommend enjoying the late afternoon and early evening outside first and only heading into the bubble tent in the evening. That way, you'll make your stay especially pleasant.
We recommend dressing for the season and, in cooler temperatures, bringing extra warm clothing and blankets, as this is a nature experience.
