About this spot
Just under 100 km west of Vienna lies the tiny municipality of Schwarzenbach an der Pielach. Alongside the villages of Brunnrotte, Haslaurotte, Hofrotte and Steinrotte, this little municipality is also home to Seerotte. And right here in the picturesque Dirndltal valley is your bubble tent – your idyll in Lower Austria. Glamping in Austria – but as a quiet, low-key insider tip.
Here, no one sees you and no one finds you.
Here you can escape the daily grind and the hustle and bustle of the big city together.
Wonderful hiking trails all around, fresh country air and, for even more relaxation, a private hot tub – perfect for ending the day with a warm soak under the open sky. Bubble Tent Seerotte comes without any rush or obligations – and instead gives you lush nature and the feeling that the world has switched to flight mode for a moment.
This special retreat in the Pielachtal is for sweethearts, nature lovers and anyone who wants to escape everyday life for a while.

Your hosts
We're true locals from the Pielachtal and we're delighted to introduce you to our beautiful home region. With our bubble tent “Seerotte”, we've created a very special retreat in the heart of the Dirndltal. We love being out in nature ourselves, enjoying the peace and simply switching off. That's exactly what you can experience here too: surrounded by meadows, forests and our peacefully grazing sheep, you can leave everyday life behind – whether relaxing in the hot tub, on a hike or simply enjoying the peace and quiet. Enjoy yourselves 😊

Frequent questions
Everything you need to know about booking and payment. Still stuck? Just message our friendly team in the chat.
There's a sustainable organic composting toilet and a solar shower. A solar shower is an outdoor shower that heats the water entirely without electricity, using only the power of the sun.
No, Bubble Tent Seerotte isn't designed for stays with children. It's suitable for 2 adults – whether as a couple or as friends!
We ask you to treat nature, the facilities and the neighbours with consideration, so that all guests can have a pleasant experience.
For safety reasons, open fire isn't allowed inside the bubble. If you have any questions about permitted fire pits, please contact your host on site directly.
That depends on the location. In the search, you can select the "Dogs welcome" filter. The listing will also give you more information – for example, that dogs are usually only allowed in the airlock chamber and that you'll need to bring a dog basket.
For cancellations up to 21 days before arrival, 85% of the booking amount will be refunded; the remaining 15% is retained as a service & transaction fee. For cancellations up to 7 days before arrival, 50% of the booking amount will be refunded. For cancellations up to 3 days before arrival, 20% of the booking amount will be refunded. Unfortunately, no refund is possible for cancellations after that. You can easily cancel yourself under “My booking”. The refund is made automatically to the original payment method. If you paid with a voucher, that portion will be credited back to your voucher.
Bookings can be rescheduled free of charge for the same location up to 10 days before arrival. Depending on the dates you choose, you may need to pay the difference or receive a refund. You can easily reschedule yourself under “My booking”.
No, unfortunately that isn't technically possible. The refund is made automatically to the original payment method. If you paid for your booking fully or partly with a voucher, that portion will be credited back to your voucher.
Our regular cancellation terms also apply in the event of illness. Unfortunately, this means a short-notice cancellation free of charge isn't possible, even if you can't travel due to illness.
We therefore recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance when you book, which also covers illness. That way, you're financially protected just in case.
The bubbles are built to be weatherproof, so rain won't spoil your nature experience. Thanks to the transparent roof, you can look outside from the comfort of your bed, even when it's raining.
The temperature inside generally follows the temperature outside. Depending on the location, electric blankets or additional heating are available, so you can stay cosy on cooler days. On warmer days, some locations also have a fan.
Please note that even on warm days, it can cool down considerably at night. On hot days, we therefore recommend enjoying the late afternoon and early evening outside first and only heading into the bubble tent in the evening. That way, you'll make your stay especially pleasant.
We recommend dressing for the season and, in cooler temperatures, bringing extra warm clothing and blankets, as this is a nature experience.
