About this spot
Life is good in Ellenberg. This popular place to unwind boasts 26 hectares of glorious lakeland and spoils you for choice during your short break in the bubble tent:
An active holiday, or peace and wellness instead? Our suggestion: go ahead and do both.
Bubble Tent Ellenberg is your retreat in the Ostalbkreis, between gentle hills and green meadows, with Häsle See & Haselbach See right next door. Grab the SUP boards and enjoy wonderful water and a fine sandy beach – or hop on the bikes for a trip through the forests of the Swabian Jura. By sunset at the latest, you can shift down a gear, when the hammock and the wood-fired hot tub by the bubble tent are calling. There's even a small outdoor sauna waiting if you'd like things to heat up a little more. Afterwards, cool off under the outdoor shower, right next to your own toilet hut.
The best thing about Bubble Tent Ellenberg is that you never have to say goodbye to the idyll: even from bed, nature lies at your feet and the sky above you.

Frequent questions
Everything you need to know about booking and payment. Still stuck? Just message our friendly team in the chat.
The entire area around the bubble is private and just for you. You have the area with hot tub, barbecue, shower and toilet all to yourselves.
There may currently be no availability – the Ellenberg location is very popular. Click through the booking calendar for alternative dates, or get a voucher for more flexibility!
We ask you to treat nature, the facilities and the neighbours with consideration, so that all guests can have a pleasant experience.
For safety reasons, open fire isn't allowed inside the bubble. If you have any questions about permitted fire pits, please contact your host on site directly.
That depends on the location. In the search, you can select the "Dogs welcome" filter. The listing will also give you more information – for example, that dogs are usually only allowed in the airlock chamber and that you'll need to bring a dog basket.
For cancellations up to 21 days before arrival, 85% of the booking amount will be refunded; the remaining 15% is retained as a service & transaction fee. For cancellations up to 7 days before arrival, 50% of the booking amount will be refunded. For cancellations up to 3 days before arrival, 20% of the booking amount will be refunded. Unfortunately, no refund is possible for cancellations after that. You can easily cancel yourself under “My booking”. The refund is made automatically to the original payment method. If you paid with a voucher, that portion will be credited back to your voucher.
Bookings can be rescheduled free of charge for the same location up to 10 days before arrival. Depending on the dates you choose, you may need to pay the difference or receive a refund. You can easily reschedule yourself under “My booking”.
No, unfortunately that isn't technically possible. The refund is made automatically to the original payment method. If you paid for your booking fully or partly with a voucher, that portion will be credited back to your voucher.
Our regular cancellation terms also apply in the event of illness. Unfortunately, this means a short-notice cancellation free of charge isn't possible, even if you can't travel due to illness.
We therefore recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance when you book, which also covers illness. That way, you're financially protected just in case.
The bubbles are built to be weatherproof, so rain won't spoil your nature experience. Thanks to the transparent roof, you can look outside from the comfort of your bed, even when it's raining.
The temperature inside generally follows the temperature outside. Depending on the location, electric blankets or additional heating are available, so you can stay cosy on cooler days. On warmer days, some locations also have a fan.
Please note that even on warm days, it can cool down considerably at night. On hot days, we therefore recommend enjoying the late afternoon and early evening outside first and only heading into the bubble tent in the evening. That way, you'll make your stay especially pleasant.
We recommend dressing for the season and, in cooler temperatures, bringing extra warm clothing and blankets, as this is a nature experience.
